Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is planning to hold talks with manager Michael Carrick following the Red Devils' friendly with Leeds United in Dublin on Wednesday night. The 28-year-old's immediate future remains unclear and complicated, with Co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe keen to get him off the club's wage bill. However, Rashford is not willing to sell to main rivals Arsenal, Liverpool, or Manchester City, and loan deals with Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Tottenham have been ruled out. According to reports, Rashford would prefer to find a new club and continue to revive his career elsewhere. He has the option of running down the remaining 24 months of his United deal and leaving Old Trafford for nothing in 2028. Alternatively, he could use the next campaign to put himself in the shop window in the hope of securing a dream move in 2027. Rashford has been linked with a move to Barcelona, but the Spanish giants rejected the option to sign him for £24m, opting to sign Anthony Gordon instead. United are considering opening talks with Club Brugge about a potential £30m deal for left-back Joaquin Seys. Meanwhile, the club have been priced out of a move for England and Newcastle defender Lewis Hall, and could turn their attentions to Seys instead. Manchester United are currently 14 points behind leaders Arsenal in the Premier League title race, and have scored 69 goals this season, conceding 50. They are on a 4-game winning run, with their last result being a 3-0 win over Brighton on May 24. The Red Devils are currently 3rd in the Premier League, with 71 points from 38 games, and have a recent form of 4W-1D-0L.
