To provide competition and depth, Manchester United is evaluating a list of alternative midfield targets. These include Adam Wharton, Aurelien Tchouameni, Carlos Baleba, and Sandro Tonali. The club is also actively seeking to sign a new left winger to further strengthen their attacking options.
