Leeds United has confirmed all official parking at Elland Road for Sunday's Premier League derby against Manchester United is sold out. The club issued a travel update warning supporters without pre-booked tickets will be turned away, affecting the plans of many United fans making the trip.
Leeds United Football Club said in a statement: "Please do not travel in your vehicle to Elland Road without a pre-booked parking ticket." This applies to all council-run car parks at the stadium, including accessible spaces and motorcycle bays. Those spaces have been relocated to the already-full Purple Car Park.
Alternative parking options
Off-site parking remains available but must be booked in advance. Spaces at White Rose Office Park cost £9.50 per match and must be purchased via the club's online platform by midnight on Saturday. The site uses Automatic Number Plate Recognition and has two entrances, with opening times roughly five hours before kick-off.
Tickets are also still available for the Stourton Park and Ride service, priced at £6.50 per person or £21.00 per car. A shuttle bus will run from there to the ground starting two-and-a-half hours prior to the match. The Temple Green park and ride service will not operate for this fixture.
The club stressed that all pre-booked parking requires a digital pass downloaded to Google Pay or Apple Wallet. Screenshots and email confirmations will not be accepted for entry. Any general parking queries can be directed to the club's dedicated email address.
Erik ten Hag's side travel to Elland Road sitting 13th in the Premier League with six points from six games. Their recent form shows no wins in five, with the last meeting between these sides ending in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in August. A positive result against 7th-placed Leeds is important for United's standings position. The match kicks off on Sunday.
Manchester United's current position is a stark contrast to their opponents, with Leeds United sitting 7th in the table. The visitors have conceded 10 goals in their opening six matches, a defensive record they will be desperate to improve upon in this high-stakes fixture. The importance of the match is amplified by the tight nature of the mid-table, where just a few points separate a cluster of teams. Leeds will look to capitalize on their strong home support and United's poor recent run to secure a valuable victory.
